I have tried so many Thai restaurants in Auckland and Christchurch and this restaurant is by far the best Thai restaurant. The restaurant is run by a lovely Thai couple who makes authentic Thai food from scratch. I ordered Seafood Curry Stir-Fried(menu number 22) and its broth was so good that I could easily tell they made it, not made with an instant food stock that you can buy from a Thai grocery store. I will come back again! Thank you for serving quality food!
We went for lunch for my sister-in-law's birthday. My daughter and I ordered specific dishes(as she doesn't eat all things, like a lot of teens), and has to be careful of peanuts. She had chicken stirfy and I had a pork and noodle dish. The others ordered a variety of starters and main dishes to share. Everyone loved the food. So tasty, the flavours are fantastic and good portions, we managed to take left overs for my partner to try. Would definitely go back. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
Absolutely beautiful food. I ordered the drunken spicy noodles and the flavors were amazing. The portion sizes were also unusally big for the price. The server was really calm and attentive and made this already delightful experience even better. Only thing is I wish there was desert and more options for drinks but I understand why this may not be possible. What they already do, they do impeccably.
Best Thai food I’ve ever had! Stumbled upon this restaurant while travelling around Christchurch and we were nothing short of impressed. We ordered - Chicken pad see ew - Crispy pork belly and duck on drunken noodles - Thai beef salad Everything was ordered with ‘hot’ spice (they have 3 levels, mild, hot and Thai hot which I’ve made the mistake of ordering before) I’ve been to Thailand before and it’s safe to say this was better than what I’ve had there! Generous servings (I had to take away half my pad see ew and salad), great robust flavour and very well presented. Staff were so lovely and very accomodating, could not recommend more! Definitely look forward to coming back to New Zealand and dining here again.
We went here last night for a meal. It was excellent. We had chicken & cashew nuts, beef penang curry, Chicken satay-they make a lovely satay sauce for this dish and the highlight of the night was the black pepper and garlic sauce crispy pork belly dish-it was outstanding. Be sure and consider this restaurant if you fancy really nice Thai food.
Went there twice, the food was really good and beautiful plates . The boy behind the counter was really good with customers, nice, and friendly. Everyone was friendly actually. Definitely come back and highly recommend Good team guys
Honestly the best Thai I've ever had. Takeaway was easy and huge portion. Photo is what is left of the crispy pork pad Thai, ready for lunch at work tomorrow and telling everyone how good it is!!!!
Best Thai in Christchurch, we live in the area and are kicking ourselves we’ve only just discovered this place. The spicy drunken noodles are so full of flavour, and you can tell it’s incredibly fresh and homemade 10/10
